Qiu Xiaoxin, Founder of Axera Intelligence, Attends 2024 Tsinghua Automation Forum and Delivers a Keynote Speech.

Recently, the "2024 Tsinghua University Automation Forum" was held in Guangzhou. Hosted by the Automation Department Branch of Tsinghua University Alumni Association, this forum gathered about 200 alumni of the Automation Department of Tsinghua University, as well as elites from the academic and industrial circles at home and abroad. They shared the latest research results and future development trends in their respective fields, and explored cooperation between universities and enterprises as well as among alumni.

As an alumnus of the Class of 1985 of the Automation Department, Qiu Xiaoxin, Founder and Chairperson of Axera, was invited to attend the forum and delivered a highly forward-looking speech themed "Inclusive AI Reshapes the Physical World: New Opportunities for the Semiconductor Industry". She believes that in the intelligent era, edge computing not only has the potential to achieve inclusiveness, but also can safeguard the privacy and security of user data. Innovation centered on edge-side intelligence will become another development path for semiconductor enterprises. "With the vigorous development of cloud, edge and end, the construction of AI new infrastructure is timely and opportune."

The "Tsinghua University Automation Forum" is an alumni event launched by the Alumni Association of the Automation Department of Tsinghua University in 2016. Aimed at enhancing communication among alumni and promoting university-enterprise cooperation, the forum shares cutting-edge information in various fields for participants and facilitates the development of the Automation Department and its alumni.
