XS2180 is a four-channel Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) power controller designed to be compatible with IEEE 802.3at/af PSE standards. The device provides Powered Device (PD) detection, classification, current limiting, and load disconnect detection. It supports both automatic mode and software programming, including two-event classification and 5-level detection and classification for high-power PDs. The chip operates on a single power supply, capable of delivering up to 70W per port (via proprietary protocol) and offers large capacitor detection for traditional PD designs.
