Global ADAS Solution Debut:
At the exhibition, Axera showcased for the first time a demonstration of an ADAS solution based on its M57 chip, developed in collaboration with STRADVISION, a leading AI visual perception technology company. This solution is designed for global ADAS development.

Specifically, this is a front-view sensing integrated solution powered by Axera’s M57.
The demo utilizes M57 as the main control chip, equipped with an 8-megapixel HD camera with a 120° horizontal field of view. It deploys STRADVISION’s 3D visual perception algorithms to achieve static object detection, vehicle/pedestrian detection, lane/road boundary detection, traffic sign/signal recognition, and free space detection, supporting L2 ADAS functions such as AEB, ACC, and LCC.
Thanks to M57’s excellent overall performance, the solution’s key highlight is its ability to operate under ultra-low power conditions while maintaining optimized detection and processing performance, making it a highly competitive offering for the global ADAS market.
More notably, this solution fully complies with China’s upcoming AEB regulations, as M57 prioritizes functional safety at an unprecedented level.
Currently, this solution has secured mass production customers and is expected to enter production as early as 2026.
At the show, Axera’s key perception partner Nullmax, also showcased perception solutions based on M57. Nullmax is an AI technology company focused on smart driving applications with full-stack autonomous driving algorithm development capabilities. Their solutions have been validated for mass production across multiple vehicle models, fully complying with regulatory requirements in China and various global markets.
At the venue, Nullmax demonstrated forward perception algorithms based on M57 and their proprietary BEV-Transformer platform architecture, featuring ultra-long perception distance and ultra-high perception frame rates exceeding 20 fps. The system integrates multiple functional modules, including obstacle detection, lane recognition, and traffic sign identification, significantly improving 3D object detection and lane perception accuracy. By fusing temporal information to enhance trajectory prediction capabilities, the system provides more reliable environmental perception and decision support for intelligent ADAS.
M57 is Axera’s main control chip for global ADAS development, launched at Auto Shanghai 2025.

M57 achieves comprehensive performance improvements over previous generations:
The proprietary AXNeutron NPU delivers 10 TOPS of computing power, with native support for mixed precision and BEV algorithms. The proprietary AXProton AI-ISP, which boosts driver assistance performance, is optimized for automotive scenarios, providing high-definition image quality under various extreme lighting conditions, while its low-latency characteristics provide reliable input for subsequent planning and control systems.
Additionally, M57 integrates an MCU with a built-in safety island, enabling ASIL-B and ASIL-D level functional safety at the chip level to meet stringent domestic and international regulatory requirements. In terms of power consumption design, M57 also performs excellently, with power consumption not exceeding 3.5W at 125°C junction temperature, accommodating both EV and ICE vehicle needs, truly driving “intelligence equality for both ICE vehicles and EVs.”
In terms of chip security and corresponding solutions, M57 fully meets global regulatory frameworks. The product design strictly follows functional safety and cybersecurity processes, ensuring comprehensive protection for safe and reliable mobility experiences.
M57 is technically designed to meet overseas L2 requirements, achieving ASIL-B functional safety levels and complying with both domestic and international cybersecurity standards. All products have earned ISO/SAE 21434:2021 automotive cybersecurity certification, ensuring comprehensive safety protection from chips to toolchains. This approach helps meet overseas regulatory and supply chain requirements, giving automakers a strong foundation for global expansion.
The various demo solutions on display also signal that M57 is nearing mass production deployment.
