From July 4 to 7, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference & High-level Meeting on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence (2024 WAIC) was held in Shanghai. During the conference, Axera set up a booth with the theme of "Simulating Human Perception, Enabling Edge-side Intelligence, Co-building Inclusive AI", showcasing a series of innovative achievements including chip matrix products, cutting-edge solutions and AI models. Meanwhile, together with the conference organizing committee, the company hosted the "Forum on Intelligent Chips and Multimodal Large Models: Leading the Future with Chips" and officially released the AxeraNeurons AI Processor to the public.

At the event, Dr. Qiu Xiaoxin, Founder and Chairperson of Axera, was interviewed by the Xinhua News Agency Client. She introduced the company's progress in edge-side intelligent applications and multimodal large model deployment, as well as her observations on the current implementation and application of large models. She believes that in the era of accelerated integration of cloud, edge and end sides, being more economical, more efficient and more environmentally friendly has become the key to "intelligentization", and the "intelligent chip + large model" will emerge as a "golden combination". Dr. Qiu Xiaoxin stated that in the AI era, only AI processors can set the flywheel of large model commercialization in motion.
