At this year's Auto Show, Axera officially launched the new generation of automotive chip products for the global market — the M57 series, empowering ADAS application scenarios with the concept of "All-Dimensional Safety".

Axera's M57 series chips have achieved a comprehensive performance upgrade based on the previous generation products: the computing power of the self-developed AxeraNeurons NPU is increased to 10TOPS, natively supporting mixed precision and BEV algorithms; the self-developed AxeraVision AI-ISP, which enhances ADAS performance, is optimized for automotive scenarios, providing high-definition image quality under various extreme light conditions, and its low-latency feature delivers reliable input for the subsequent planning and control system. In addition, the M57 integrates an MCU and a built-in safety island, enabling ASIL-B and ASIL-D level functional safety at the chip level to meet the stringent requirements of relevant domestic and international regulations. In terms of power consumption design, the M57 also delivers outstanding performance — at a junction temperature of 125°C, its power consumption is no more than 3.5W, catering to the needs of both electric and fuel vehicles, and truly driving the vision of "Intelligent for Both EV and ICE Vehicles".

In terms of chip safety and corresponding solutions, the M57 series fully complies with the global regulatory system, and its product design strictly follows functional safety and information security processes — all-dimensional safety to safeguard the safe and convenient travel experience of customers and users. Technically, the M57 accurately meets the overseas L2-level ADAS requirements, enhances the ASIL-B functional safety level and domestic and international information security standards. The full product line has passed the ISO/SAE 21434:2021 Automotive Cybersecurity Certification, building a full-lifecycle security moat from chips to toolchains. It adapts to overseas regulatory and supply chain needs, providing a solid foundation for automakers' global layout.

Leveraging the rich mass production experience accumulated in the past, the M57 is ready for application upon its launch and can be matched with a variety of mature ADAS solutions. For example, it supports an 8-megapixel front-view all-in-one machine and is compatible with 2-megapixel cameras, providing customers with an L2-level driving solution with an unrivaled intelligence-to-cost ratio. At the same time, the M57 can upward support the 5R5V park and drive integration domain controller solution, realizing functional upgrading and 360° safety protection. While improving performance, the corresponding solutions maintain continuity. With the support of Axera's complete hardware and software toolchains, it is estimated that the solution upgrade and mass production from M55 to M57 can be achieved in only 4.5 months.

Notably, the first mass-produced vehicle model based on the M57 chip has been designated for development and will be launched in Europe.

At the launch event, Axera announced the full launch of its integrated multi-dimensional strategy of "Localization, Globalization, Scaling and Upgradation". Axera's automotive product family is built for the era of AI-defined automobiles, achieving complete coverage of high, medium and low-tier product matrix. At present, Axera has served numerous automakers, with accumulated vehicle shipments exceeding hundreds of thousands of units.

The M55H entered mass production immediately upon its launch; the M57 is ready for application upon its launch; the M76H solution for the mid-to-high tier market has received designations from automakers. The next-generation high-tier chips are also ready to launch — AxeraNeurons NPU adopts an all-new architecture, supporting end-to-end, VLM and other large models. The chip features a new-generation system architecture design to address numerous challenges such as high bandwidth, low latency and low power consumption, helping automakers and partners improve the overall vehicle intelligence level. Starting from ADAS, but not limited to ADAS, Axera's automotive chips continue to expand into more fields, empowering richer scenario applications and achieving large-scale mass production and vehicle deployment.

Axera is forming a market pattern of "dual circulation in domestic and international markets".

On the one hand, Rooted in China, Axera has joined hands with leading domestic algorithm providers to jointly develop and mass produce a variety of ADAS solutions. Axera's automotive chip products fully realize major L2 ADAS functions including AEB/ACC/LCC/TSR/TJA. The M55H has been applied on a large scale in multiple vehicle models and projects, and more mass-produced models in cooperation with other customers will be launched in the future.

On the other hand, Set Sail for the Global Market. Axera is working with global Tier 1 suppliers and algorithm providers to break through barriers to product globalization, build a global supply chain, and actively participate in the overseas projects of domestic and international OEMs.
